CreditSights is currently seeking a Product Manager based out of our New York office.
This Product Manager will play a pivotal role in the strategic planning, development, and execution of our data product offerings. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to drive the product lifecycle from conception through launch and beyond. The ideal candidate will possess strong product management experience, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs. This role has a particular focus on data products and data management.

Strategic Planning and Roadmap Development:
Product Vision: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and market demands.
Roadmap Management: Develop and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business objectives and customer feedback.
Product Development and Execution:
Requirement Gathering: Gather high-level requirements, group them logically by initiative or epic, sequence, and prioritize. These epics should be ready for further breakdown by the product owner and squad members.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure cohesive product development and successful product delivery.
Agile Processes: Lead agile processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.
Market and Customer Engagement:
Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and ensure product features meet market demands.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including product launches, marketing campaigns, and sales enablement activities.
Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement:
Metrics Analysis: Track and analyze product performance metrics to inform future development and ensure continuous improvement.
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve issues with current products, providing timely solutions based on customer feedback.
Organizational Management:
Talent Development: Identify and develop talent within the product team, ensuring that the team structure supports strategic goals.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with executive leadership, Chapter leads, and centers of excellence to ensure alignment and remove blockers.
Budget Management: Manage the product budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and tracking capitalized projects.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all product releases meet quality standards and maintain ongoing service levels.
What You Need to Have:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Experience: 4+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the FinTech or financial services industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Agile methodologies, product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello), and a solid understanding of software development.
Financial Data Knowledge: Experience working with financial data and data management practices.

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $180,000 and $200,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
