The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) is a highly visible role that will be responsible for supporting the Global Process Engineering team day-to-day capital spending and cash flow activities as well as providing analysis to support overall operations finance
•
These finance activities include capital spending and manufacturing site reporting, operational and direct cost analysis, monthly capital spending and cashflow forecasting, annual budgeting, and miscellaneous project work
•
A successful candidate will be comfortable and seasoned in collaboration, as you will partner with senior leadership, operations management, supply chain and other cross-functional team members to deliver decision-making support for key deliverables and business initiatives
•
Support and help preparing capital strategic business plans (5 year plan)
•
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of capital reporting
•
Work closely with controlling team to ensure elements capitalized match US GAAP definition
•
Support development of annual capital budgets, and monthly capex forecasts including analysis and variance explanations
•
Supports preparation of presentations for senior management team and assist VP Operations Finance with presentations to the Capital Engineering Team, COO and CFO
•
Prepare the 3 months rolling forecast
•
Support 13 week capital cash flow forecast for the Treasury team
•
Prepare financial capex analyses for major projects, ensuring alignment with business strategies, priorities, and financial requirements
•
Review financial analysis prepared by the plant for the small projects, especially ensuring capturing benefits and continuous improvement from capex
•
Provides financial consulting on key strategic initiatives and priorities to help the organization stay focused on achieving their strategic goals and capex budget - help reassessing financial implication/priorities when new projects not in AOP are needed
•
Support any special project work throughout the Operations team
•
Adhoc analysis & other business requests - provide adhoc reports and analysis as needed to support overall business
•
Quickly develop a detailed understanding of the business, including products/services and operations sites
•
