Develop and implement a communications strategy to connect key stakeholders including USAID, other donor-funded projects, and the private sector with the project activities.
Coordinate with USAID’s communications team to ensure activity communications are aligned with Mission priorities.
Develop relevant communication materials, tools, and approaches in line with the project objectives and USAID guidelines, including identifying appropriate ways to publicize and disseminate content.
Work closely with the project team to gather and synthesize project-related information, translating information and data into suitable language for a lay audience, as appropriate.
Work with private sector partners to identify and facilitate ways in which they can support project intervention and inclusive education in Bangladesh
Develop project communications materials, including project factsheets, press releases, flyers, success stories, and daily social media posts.
Plan for and regularly develop content for radio, television, print, and electronic media. Liaise with media personnel to publicize as appropriate.
Develop or support the development of information graphics.
Bachelor’s Degree plus 8 years or a Master’s degree plus 6 years’ experience in the communications field.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working with communication strategies, including social media campaigns, marketing, and event promotion.
Experience working on communications on USAID projects required. Understanding of USAID branding requirements required.
Proven track record of building and sustaining effective partnerships, advocating effectively, and communicating to various audiences.
Experience in developing, producing, and disseminating communication activities and materials, such as success stories, newsletters, and social media posts.
Experience working with radio, television, print, and electronic media.
Proven ability to write reports in professional standard.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as Canva, Adobe illustrator, Adobe Photoshop. Basic knowledge of some Video editing will be a plus.
Strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop excellent relations with donor officials and key local stakeholders.
Proven ability to work quickly under pressure, and with multiple concurrent demands.
Videography/photography skills required.

Excellent oral and written fluency in English and Bangla is required.
Ensure compliance with USAID branding and marking guidelines and approved messages.
Ensure sub awardees follow branding and marking guidelines and communications protocols.
Develop tools, templates, and guidance for staff use to promote projects and activities in accordance with USAID rules and regulations.
Train project staff, partners, and other stakeholders on integrating communications into day-to-day responsibilities.
Supervise the activities of service providers responsible for the production of communication media and tools, and event management.
Supervise and work closely with the Partnerships and Communications Specialist.
Track the output and reception of key communications pieces and adjust outputs accordingly.
Perform any tasks as assigned by the Chief of Party.
