Job Description
Strong in-depth knowledge of databases and database concepts.
▪ Experience in ETL (Extract Transform and Load) Abinitio background, along with hands-on
technical components of Ab-initio - GDE, PSETS, MP, PDL, Meta Programming and Usage
of Conduct IT (plans), continuous components.
▪ Good experience in various Ab-initio Parallelism techniques, knowledge on air commands
and Unix Shell scripting.
▪ Must have Knowledge of databases like, Snowflake, Oracle, amazon doc db, Mongo Db.
▪ Must Have knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud components. Should have
basic hands-on experience on Ec2, Arora,DocDB
▪ Knowledge on scheduling tools like Control centre and Autosys. Should have good
experience with Express IT, TRE, AbSQL/Query IT, Git.
▪ Must have experience on Postgre SQL.
▪ Follow release and change processes in the compilation and distribution of software builds
and releases to development and test environments, system updates into production
▪ General responsibility in the design, development, and delivery of system resources data
integration between multiple external systems and Oracle EBS, using Ab Initio ETL
▪ Develop and document a high-level Conceptual Data Process Design for review by data
analysts and quality assurance analysts that will serve as a basis for writing ETL code and
designing test plans
▪ Thoroughly unit test ETL code to ensure it is free of errors· Analyse several aspects of
code prior to release to ensure that it will run efficiently and can be supported in the
production environment
▪ Under the direction of the Portfolio Architect, assists with ETL design and solution·
Should be able to provide data modelling solutions.
▪ Experience in handling the small size team with Abinitio technical deliverables. Should
have customer management experience.
▪ Should have working experience in the Tech Lead or Lead Developer roles. Experience of
Tech Lead- Abinitio will be an advantage.
▪ Experience of forming new technical teams, driving trainings and enabling the technology
uplift for the team will be an added advantage.
▪ Supports maintenance of plans to address significant architecture gaps between current
and target state·
▪ Ability to understand requirements and translate them into code.
▪ Nice to have exposure to BFS (Banking and Financial Services) domain knowledge.
Added advantage if you have AWS cloud practitioner certification.
