Accessibility Quality Engineer
This is a remote position open to any qualified applicant in the United States.

Qualifications
Strong experience in JAWS; NVDA; Talk Back for Android; VoiceOver for iOS; WCAG 2.1 A & AA; WAI-ARIA
· Strong understanding and usage of Screen readers like JAWS & NVDA for Windows, Talk Back for Android, VoiceOver for iOS.
· Applied knowledge of WAI-ARIA concepts.
· Experience of web based accessibility tools aXE and WAVE.
· Knowledge of web accessibility test scenarios and test conditions.
· Experience working with accessibility tools for major browsers like Chrome, FireFox and Edge.
· Expert level using shortcuts and keystrokes.
· Ability to discern accessibility issues from wireframes
Roles and Responsibilities
· Conducting accessibility compliance audits on websites, web based applications, software applications and Mobile apps.
· Generating accessibility reports against WCAG 2.1 A & AA.
Work Authorization

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $70,790/- to $101,500/- depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
