Who we’re looking for

Toyota Motors North America, Vehicle Finance (TMMK) is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Analyst for the Vehicle Financial Planning section.

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead & support productivity and labor analysis for the Vehicle Plant Operations.

Reporting to the Vehicle Financial Planning Manager, the person in this role will provide accurate and timely financial information to support management’s decision-making, as well as, be a key resource to support the vehicle plant manufacturing group.

What you’ll be doing

Key Responsibilities

Provide productivity leadership for Vehicle Manufacturing operations, including coordination of budget and forecast productivity target setting, reporting and analysis, shop training, and ad-hoc support related to productivity inquiries.
Maintain Productivity Systems to ensure timely and accurate data.
Maintain TMMK productivity system benchmarks for Vehicle Manufacturing Shops.
Support semi-annual HON labor analysis.
Conduct shop productivity actual versus budget/forecast variance analysis.
Collaborate with Staffing and Production Control Planning to review, analyze, and clarify productivity forecast assumptions, presenting to respective shops’ executive leadership.
Complete Monthly Accounting/JEs for Labor/Payroll Accounting
Complete Monthly Labor Account Reconciliations
Support TMNA Productivity reporting and ad-hoc inquiries.
Support the life cycle of new and existing assets and cost functions for TMMK’s Vehicle Plants
Provide physical inventory support & audit as needed.
This position will require an individual to have in-depth cost accounting knowledge and the ability to apply it to complex issues. Many issues may require the team member to draw upon their experiences to solve problems in a systematic and analytical way. This position will receive general direction from management; however, this individual will be required to work through many issues on their own without the continuous support of management. This individual will work with other sections in A&F, as well as with the Manufacturing Shop Floor, Purchasing, I/S, Production Control, Sales Companies, Toyota Motor Corp., and NAMC’s.

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or similar related degree
Manufacturing Cost Accounting experience, including Budget/scenario planning, Cost per unit analysis, and Cost/usage variance analysis
Proven project management leadership, analytical, organizational, relationship-building, persuasion, and presentation skills
Experience demonstrating leadership in a cross-functional environment
Ability to effectively communicate, persuade, and negotiate with all levels of management
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Added bonus if you have

Advanced degree (higher than Bachelor’s)
CPA or CMA
SAP Financials including BPC ‘Business Planning & Consolidation’ Planning
Bill of Material Experience (confirming actual vs engineer std)
Experience in Automotive Manufacturing
Experience in Toyota Accounting & Finance
Experience delivering presentations to management including executive level
