As an Analyzer System Engineer, you will be the lead engineer and design authority for analyzer system integration engineering projects in ABB's Process Automation Measurement & Analytics Systems Integration Unit team in Houston, Texas, making technical recommendations and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.
In this role, you will make technical decisions and delivery of multiple projects on time, within budget and in line with specifications and with quality and safety guidelines.

Your responsibilities
Resolve technical issues both remotely and at customer sites in US (United States).
Assist contract managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards, as well as technical details, costs and deliverables for sales proposals.
Cost effectively execute analyzer system integration project deliverables on time in accordance with specifications, standards and safety requirements.
Maintain a strong network of engineering professionals and disseminate engineering best practices to aid colleagues development.
Create and deliver work plans, budgets and risk assessments.
Develop your management skills by working with entry level employees.
Develop, select and apply standard techniques, procedures and tools, reporting inefficiencies and identifying improvement opportunities.
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in Analyzer, Chemical or Instrumentation Engineering or a similar field
2 or more, with 5 years experience preferred, as an Analyzer Engineer, Lead Engineer, Project Engineer or similar role with Process Analytical products or projects.
Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools for Refining, Chemical or Petrochemical industries and knowledge of electrical equipment in hazardous areas required.
Strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following workplace safety guidelines.
High level of self motivation, curiosity and a desire to learn about new technologies.
Collaborative approach to working, demonstrating strong communication and leadership skills.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
