As a R&D Manager, you will
• lead a team of engineers that will develop, integrate and test complex VoLTE features in CNCS for some of the top CSPs in the world.
• own functional areas and components and be responsible for their quality, future design and enhancements.
• Defines processes and standards.
• Uses knowledge on how the job contributes to the corporate goals as well as knowledge of industry and competitive landscape to increase own effectiveness.
• Influences strategic decisions within professional area that affect the performance of the subfunction (EG Interact with Architects, System Test experts, Project Managers, Peer Line managers to make releases happen).
• Solves highly complex or novel problems based on sophisticated analytical thought and complex judgment.
• Independently develops concepts to set the professional direction of own organisational unit.
• Acts as a senior subject matter expert, typically at a global or regional level, in many organisational units the most senior internal expert who serves as best practice / quality resource and is an acknowledged authority both within and outside own organisational unit.
• Lead from front in engaging with Customers, Customer facing teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and providing RCA and internalizing the learnings.
• ensure a vibrant work environment, set targets, be a mentor and get the best out of the team.

Knowledge & Experience
Management Experience / Achieved well-advanced skills of a specific professional discipline combining deep knowledge of theory and organisational practice or expertise. Recognised expert in their field (depth & breadth).
Atleast 12 years of experience in Networking or Telecommunications Networks
More than 4 years of experience in directly leading teams as a Manager, or as a Scrum Master.
Strong leadership and execution skills keeping Quality, Timeline and Customer needs at the forefront.
Ability to work with cross functional teams across RnDs with good communication skills
Experience with Agile frameworks and techniques such as Scrum, Kanban and Continuous Delivery
Good knowledge of SIP, Diameter and Telecom Domain Knowledge (VoLTE, IMS)
Experienced in Cloud and Cloud Native Technologies (Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, Consul, Redis, Helm, Envoy)
Proven experience in Development or Testing of large, complex features
Team player with proven ability to work in diverse team environment to achieve stiff and challenging targets
