Set the Unilever data strategy and lay the foundations to maximise the value of our data.
Deliver the connected Data Platform to accelerate access to integrated and trusted data at scale across the company for analytics and resolutions.
Embed core data and analytics capabilities, resultingto automation, AI, and Big Data to boost Unilever’s resolution intelligence.
Guide the Data and Analytics Culture to build a future-fit workforce those values and adopts data-intelligent resolution-making across all levels.

ROLE PROFILE
If you are excited about data and insights and passionate about consumer product offerings with an innovative mindset for improvement, then we think this role is for you. You need to be a skilled market analyst who has a proven understanding of the full lifecycle of a product, from conception to release. We’re looking for a confident assistant who can collaborate with cross-functional teams in the creation of products that improve customer experience and grow market share. You will support the Product Owner with the detailed specification and documentation as well as the planning of the product releases and the testing.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Works with the Product Owner/Manager/Market stakeholders to define and document business and technical requirements (into required templates such as the BRD and into JIRA)
Translates requirements into fully defined user stories, Help manage the product backlog and prioritise based on market priority and roadmap, ensures prompt upload to JIRA (or wherever these will be tracker) and ensures ongoing management as the project progresses
Guide feasibility validation of new features and validation of new features with markets using artifacts like wireframes etc
Works closely with third party development partner to ensure they are briefed on requirements and change requests as needed
Owns management of the following artefacts: JIRA board for Helix product, Backlog of requirements & UAT tracker
Guide technical and functional testing for Product releases
Guide technical and functional clarifications during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions, market onboarding and product support
Maintain, update and manage product technical and functional documentation (Release notes, User guides etc)
Drive product RAID actions to resolution and escalates key risks and issues up to product Owner and Manager on a timely basis to ensure effective resolution
Works with teams across reporting lines
Supports the team with key activities around: Data Source Mapping and Managing a data ingestion roadmap / working with the local D&A teams on this
Supports with tactical value / benefits tracking once the product is live
Supports in tracking key customer metrics e.g. turnover, CAGR and measuring impact of project on said metrics
Liaises with Change Management initiatives to ensure product adoption and embedment in existing ways of working
Works closely with the Product Assistants across other workstreams to ensure continual knowledge transfer and lessons learned

Essential Experience
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
3+ years' experience in product development
Hands on experience with Data & Analytics
Technical expertise to dissect data/analytics solutions and “know what good looks like”
Knowledge of agile process and postulates
Knowledge of visualization tools like PBI, Webapp or other data blending tools
Desirable Experience
Previous CPG / retailer facing experience, ideally with exposure to Category Management
Exposure and good learning in Data Science
At least 2 years of experience in major cross functional teams
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in working in cross functional teams
