Marketing & Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities
Join us as an Assistant Sales Manager for the Process Automation Process Industries Division where you will be responsible for the sales of Data Center product and services in Singapore and Malaysia and contributing to the overall DC business in Local Division Singapore/Indonesia. Building long term customer relationships and managing resolution to customer needs and issues.
This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager for Data Center Automation and Growth Industries. The position is based in Singapore.
You will be responsible for:
• Achieving sales targets (volume, prices) in the data centre industry, ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices.
• Managing sales enquiries in timely manner, including preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal team.
• Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promoting customer understanding of our product/services offer and aligning to provide a solution.
• Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process and creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of the transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniques.
• Preparing and delivering technical presentation and demonstrations to customers as part of sales pursuit or for sales related events
• Communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments and general terms and conditions)
• Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration

Qualifications for the role
Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, with knowledge of Controls/Automation or Business Administration
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the data centre industry
Strong sales track record from start to complete project and installations
Technical Knowledge in Data Center infrastructure market in South East Asia
Proven customer and market orientation with good communication and interpersonal skills
Independent, reliable, and proactive personality
