leads organization-wide efforts to foster a culture of accountability, compliance, and risk awareness at all levels of the organization. The position is charged with designing, implementing, overseeing, and monitoring Action Against Hunger-USA’s Compliance and Risk program, as well as a prioritized annual implementation plan. The program should effectively prevent, detect, respond to and mitigate illegal, unethical, or improper conduct and promote a culture of integrity, compliance, and accountability to both the donors that entrust us with resources and the communities and people affected by crisis that we serve.
Purpose: Integrate a culture of compliance and risk management at all levels of the organization helping it to better respond to new and increasingly complex regulations and intensified risks to personnel, operations, and the organization.
Engagement: Work closely with the senior leaders to build the capacities, skills and tools for compliance and risk management, empowering the organizational management to more confidently pursue new opportunities for programs, value and impact.
Delivery: Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance and risk management program to more effectively prevent, detect, respond to and mitigate illegal, unethical, or improper conduct and promote a culture of integrity, compliance, and accountability to both the donors that entrust us with resources and the communities and people affected by crisis that we serve
