Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, Entry Level/Engineer in Training (EIT) Bridge Design Engineers to join our team in West Virginia, Ohio. An ideal candidate will be enthusiastic in working with other engineers, project managers, and other technical staff assisting with planning, designing, and overseeing structural engineering projects focusing on the design of bridges and other structures, including culverts, slabs, retaining walls and foundations. Projects include new structures, bridge rehabilitation, Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build/P-3. Being a team player is an absolute requirement.





Job Responsibilities:

Assist senior staff in the production of project plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates.
Be involved in all project aspects including design/study development and site/field visits during design and construction.
Efficiently produce quality deliverables while meeting budget and schedules on multiple concurrent projects.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, clients, and public agencies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's Degree is a plus).
0 to 4 years of related experience.
Active Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or in the process of completing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be flexible, well organized, accountable and dependable.


Preferred:

Experience using computer assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering and design documents (examples include software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office products, etc.).
