Job Duties:
· Business Analyst will act as a liaison between technical teams, senior management, and the business community, including managing communications between business stakeholders and technical teams.
· He / She will work with the IT Security team, Project Sponsor, Validation/Qualification team and Business counterparts, etc., to gather and analyze information to develop new and update existing Process Flows and accompanying documentation (including swim-lanes diagrams and As-is & To-be documentation, etc.).
· He / She will be responsible for creating project deliverables deemed required. The number of required deliverables for each project will be defined by the project manager after assessing the project’s business impact, GxP classification and SOX classification as defined by the PMO governance policies.
· Gilead’s System Life Cycle (SLC) policy and methodology (UNITY) will provide the deliverable objective, guidance, and template. Deliverables that are based on UNITY are marked with “UNITY” in the deliverable list below.
· He / She must be proficient in gathering business requirements using UML, process flows and use cases, and have experience in modeling and mapping as-is and to-be business processes.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
• Critical skill requirements include being trained in software development lifecycles Waterfall and Agile methodology.
• Depending on the nature of the project, the individual will need specific skills and experience in the security knowledge areas, such as networking, identity management, platform technologies or end-point device security products.
• Basic understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Experience in dealing with senior management up to executive level.
• Ability to work with dispersed and global teams and locations.
• Experience in the life-science industry would be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite.
• Relevant professional qualification would be advantageous if combined with practical experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and soft skills with good proficiency in English language (Speaking, Writing and Reading).
• Experience in process oriented domains like Life Science / Healthcare / Banking / Financial where documentation and process is a key to success.
• Experience in GxP projects within Life Sciences is a plus.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 06/13/2024.The Salary for this position will be 94,000 to 131,000 yearly depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
