You will be working as Buyer and will be part of Electrification business for Service division based in Nashik, India. In this role you will be reporting to Purchasing Manager and will be responsible for purchasing materials according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensuring purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
Your responsibilities
Identifying new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team. Qualifying new suppliers in cooperation with supplier quality and engineering specialists
Negotiating agreements with main suppliers and periodically renews pricelists, terms and conditions
Adapting corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. Recommending frame agreements to management and executes upon approval
Analyzing and evaluating bids in order to determine the optimal value
Supporting bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information
Tracking goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing
Your background
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience buyer, purchase materials according to required technical specification, price delivery schedule and terms
Good to have SAP knowledge
A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
