Provides health care services, using sonographic equipment to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Demonstrates anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgement in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Applies age appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
*Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited sonography program or equivalent.
*American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) is required.
*Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
