JOB PURPOSE
The incumbent will be responsible for providing proactive integrated health and wellbeing services to general people of project areas and coordinating appropriate follow-up care for patients following an initial medical examination. The Centre Manager’s role will also involve taking the lead in developing and delivering medical services, coordination and collaboration with different GO/NGO stakeholders, assisting in ensuring quality service from BUHC & DC and BRAC outreach center. The responsibilities will focus on working in an integrated way while showing a positive attitude among colleagues. Overall, management of BUHC & DC, Outreach center, and follow-up staff assigned tasks regularly, as well as the relevant admin and finance-related work to be accomplished.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading and maintaining BRAC Urban Health Care (BUHC) & Diagnostic Center (DC) activities and delivery of quality health care services to the community
Overseeing all kinds of administrative works in the context of management decisions and providing appropriate medical treatment for various illnesses or injuries at UHC & DC for 6 (Six) days a week ensuring client rights
Supervising and monitoring all BUHC & DC and BRAC Outreach Center staff and community staff (Programme organizer and Shasthyo Kormi)
Ensuring quality of care to the target group of beneficiaries
Conducting or overseeing research on healthcare issues to identify trends or opportunities for improvement
Monitoring infection prevention system of centers (IP, Autoclave, Waste Management), and support to all technical training, arranging regular refresher training for technical staff
Ensuring that all staff members are trained on best practices in patient care, infection control, and disease prevention
Coordinating, preparing, and submitting monthly/quarterly/six monthly reports through maintaining software on a daily basis
Maintaining proper financial transactions, inventory management, and quality of product and service in the BUH & DCs
Making appropriate referrals for better management of patients and documentation of all patient evaluations, treatments, medications, and transactions according to BRAC policies and procedures
In coordination with the accounts department, ensuring smooth procurement at the local level
Preparing monthly requisition of medicine and health commodities for both BUHC & DCs center and BOC send requisition to head office
Implementing all marketing plans and activities instructed by management
Maintaining regular communication with local influential, community people through forums
Performing any other tasks, responsibilities, and assignments as and when necessary or determined by higher authority/supervisor.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
