Responsibilities for this job include:
The CNC Operator/Machinist will produce machined parts by operating HAAS, Milltronic, Fanuc or other (CNC) machine. You will be responsible for maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies, 1st article inspection.
Daily duties:
· Responsible for material preparation, maintaining set-up and running of machines, changing offsets, changing tooling and parts inspections.
· Programming knowledge is a plus and will be considered first!!
· Understand the sets-up of mills and lathes, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops
· Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
· Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.
· Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations;
· Take measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who has 3+ years of prior CNC experience and demonstrates a great attitude and consistent work ethic.
If you have:
· Ability to produce machined parts by operating (CNC) machine
· Can maintain quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
· Ability to work with computer numeric controlled (CNC) heavy machinery from setup to operation to produce parts and tools from metal, or other materials.
· Have previous experience operating production equipment that cuts, grinds, or drills into the copper, steel and other metal working experience.
