What we’re looking for

This position is responsible for executing all operational aspects of the commercial loan documentation, funding, and boarding processes for all commercial products including permanent real estate loans, construction loans, working capital loans, revolving lines of credit, secured and unsecured personal loans, and additional commercial lending products as required. Responsibilities include coordination of documentation preparation and execution consistent with the terms of approval, funding, and boarding of such loans, engaging with the appropriate TFSB business units as well as borrowers, borrower’s counsel, inside and outside bank counsel, escrow agents, title agents, and environmental entities – any and all parties required to move loans from approval to closing.

This position is also responsible for carrying out responsibilities of the construction desk including reviewing work conducted by third-party construction monitors, contractors, and title agents, monitoring and reporting on service levels, and executing the balancing/draw/disbursement process associated with construction loans and revolving lines of credit.

This position will report to the Commercial Operations Manager and will be an individual contributor.

What you’ll be doing

Lead the coordination of borrower, borrower’s counsel, TFSB counsel, Commercial Loan Officers, and TFSB Operations to execute closing and funding of loans.
Manage the loan documentation process, which may include coordination with outside counsel for the drafting of loan documents or internal generation of loan documents via the Bank’s commercial and personal loan document generation software.
Plan and execute commercial loan closings with multiple internal and external parties to ensure successful execution on the day of closing.
Review and provide recommendations on liability and property insurance certificates related to commercial real estate collateral; Advise external parties of TFSB Insurance requirements.
Execute construction loan operational processes, including drafting construction monitor engagement requests and work orders, review and make recommendations related to construction monitor initial project review (IPR) report and ongoing reports, reviewing draw requests and create review packages, validate/calculate draw amounts and holdbacks, review and make recommendations around documents submitted by the general contractor (budgets, contracts, architectural plans/specs, schedule) and act as the point of contact for outside counsel, construction monitor, and general contractor.
Direct and oversee the commercial and personal loan boarding process (modification of construction loans from temporary to permanent), including managing related tasks by the Bank’s external third-party vendors.
What you bring

Bachelor's degree required.
4+ years of commercial lending/banking experience.
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Added bonus if you have

Master’s degree preferred
Experience reviewing insurance certificates (real estate, liability, flood).
Experience using Fiserv products such as Premier/Director.
