The American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) is seeking a Communications Manager to oversee the Association’s communications and social media presences. As the Communications Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the communications strategy and messaging to support the Association’s mission of advancing medicine through excellence in the science education and professional practice of medical physics. You will act as informed communications liaison to collaborate with volunteers and HQ team on effective messaging materials.
AAPM is a scientific and professional organization, founded in 1958, composed of more than 8000 scientists whose clinical practice is dedicated to ensuring accuracy, safety and quality in the use of radiation in medical procedures such as medical imaging and radiation therapy. AAPM supports scientists and focuses on its mission of advancing medicine through science.
