Summary
CHS has an exciting opportunity at our Refinery facility in McPherson, KS. We are looking for a Coordinator, Inventory Senior to perform critical warehouse functions specific to inventory management, stored materials, and logistics to support the CHS McPherson Refinery. You must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work in both a team environment and on self-directed tasks, are necessary.

Responsibilities
Review, resolve, and update the Warehouse Inventory Management System driven by discrepancies, additions, or changes to warehouse stock items. This includes but is not limited to new stock setup, Engineering Change Request Program, obsolete material review, and inventory transactions.
Review and ensure that all warehouse inventory items are cycle counted and the inventory system is updated based upon established procedures for Internal Accounting Compliance.
Manage the Non-Stock Storage System for staged, planned, or project materials, including review, return, or disposal of unused or returned direct charge materials.
Ensure that all alloy material requiring PMI inspection is properly tested and the PMI database is accurately updated for mechanical integrity compliance and any other inventory required inspections.
Manage and coordinate the process of refurbishment, repair credit, or replacement of selected stock materials used in production. The repair process includes the physical item refurbishment, repair, or replacement as well as the inventory and purchasing system database requirements necessary for the item procurement or material credit.
Manage and coordinate the inbound and outbound shipment of materials for use by CHS Laurel. This includes small packages, LTL shipments, and expedited shipments both domestic and international. This management includes invoice review, rate review, and audits on carriers/companies providing service to the CHS Laurel Refinery.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
2+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement and/or Warehouse Operations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
Additional Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of Supply Chain and Procurement and/or Warehouse Operations
Experience with Inventory Management software (i.e. JD Edwards)
IATA/CFR49 Dangerous Goods Certification
API RP 578 - Material Verification Program
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, squat, twist, and bend repeatedly.
Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and bins.
Ability to lift 55 pounds repeatedly.
Ability to wear all required PPE such as a hard hat, and safety glasses.
Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures.
