The Corporate Treasury Manager reports to the Global Treasury Director and is responsible for supporting the M&A activities as well as the Strategic Financing Sustainability activities led by the Treasury team including its reporting requirements.
The job holder is the key custodian within Corporate Treasury, linking as necessary with global and local treasury functions and external strategic banks.
This position provides backup support for the update of Mars, Incorporated’s Strategic Finance Model as well as other Corporate Treasury reporting.
What are we looking for?
The Corporate Treasury Manager is a member of the Corporate Treasury team.
This position requires a self-starter who will work to continuously improve Treasury processes while maintaining a rigorous control environment and compliance with various Mars, Incorporated policies.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Serve as a Treasury advisor in the M&A projects to identify the most appropriate funding sources, ensure flows can occur when intended, and lead in the establishment of Escrows, related to a specific group of global relationship banks. For newly acquired entities, ensure the entity is fully tied into Global Treasury resources to manage business upon acquisition including, FX, Commodities, liquidity, and others as needed.
Develop and manage reports around all escrow accounts, including those arising from M&A activities as approved by the Global Treasury Director.
Assist the Global Treasury Director with all financing/ payments around business development projects, in addition to integrating Treasury activities of the acquired businesses in close collaboration with the respective In-Country Treasury Center.
Support in any required Strategic Financing Sustainability activities led by Corporate Treasury (Sustainability Bonds) and its related reporting by collaborating with the Accounting and Sustainability teams.
Assist in the preparation of materials for Lenders' presentations, board meeting presentations, etc. as required by both the Global Treasury Director and the Chief Financial Officer.
Act as backup support for the update and maintenance of Mars, Incorporated’s Strategic Finance Model as required by projects, in addition to the regular updates in line with the long-term planning cycle and as needed and approved by the Global Treasury Director.
Support the Global Treasury Director with debt capital market-related projects as required.
Other Treasury responsibilities:
Support corporate day-to-day treasury functions, including cash disbursements, wire transfers, and liquidity management for the head office.
Support the relationships management of banking partners and financial institutions.
Execute and monitor financial transactions, including debt financing and investment activities.
Prepare consolidated financial reports for global operations, providing accurate and timely financial information to support management decisions.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather relevant financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting.
LEADERSHIP OF GLOBAL TREASURY PROJECTS FOR CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Monitor best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to deliver best-in-class Treasury services.
Identify opportunities to increase automation of Treasury-related processes to deliver efficiencies while maintaining quality and controls.
Education & Professional Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field.
· MBA or CPA preferred. Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance or treasury role
· Project Management Skills (Advanced)

Very high level of attention to accuracy and detail.
Excellent communication (both written and oral).
A global mindset and interest. The ability to understand country/region specific differences worldwide from a business and cultural perspective.
Strong computer skills, including banking systems and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word a must.
Strong organizational skills and creative problem solver.
Ability to work in a multitasking environment and meet deadlines and clear understanding of the need to prioritize.
Strong experience in financial reporting and treasury management systems (SAP, FIS/Quantum products)
Strong Mathematical and analytical skills including the ability to interpret financial information.
Preferred qualifications:
Thorough knowledge of corporate banking, cash management, cash forecasting, and analysis is highly preferred.
Some knowledge of foreign currency dealing is helpful.
Solid project management skills are required.
