Marketing and Franchise Development in the U.S. Consumer Bank is focused on deploying best-in-class marketing campaigns and advertising efforts while engaging net new external partnerships to enhance our product and solutions set. The Citi Retail Services (CRS) Partner Marketing team leads all marketing efforts for the CRS business. CRS is a leader in the payments industry and manages over 40 million customer accounts via long-standing partnerships with industry leaders including Sears, Macy’s, The Home Depot and Best Buy. The Head of Partner Marketing for Citi Retail Services is currently seeking a Head of Business Execution. The individual in this role will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives for the team, managing performance tracking, supporting and assessing compliance processes, leading customer experience enhancements, and developing our overarching business strategy. This includes using communication and relationship building skills in sharing important information, creating forums and routines to drive business performance, and comprehensively connecting all the functional disciplines to efficiently deliver on our commitments to our customers, partners and employees.

Responsibilities

Support the definition of an overarching strategy for the Citi Retail Services Partner Marketing team including working with individual CMOs to form an explicit roadmap of activities that ladder up to our vision and set of priorities.

Ensure effective execution of the strategy, leveraging formal meetings, routines, metrics and goals to track and deliver on our business commitments. In addition, track management meetings, summarize deliverables and follow through to delivery.

Drive content, cadence and logistics of routines for a 50-person organization, including all-hands calls and leadership updates. Develop net new routines, where needed, to further drive connectivity throughout the organization.

Lead efforts to address key customer experience pain points including identifying key areas of opportunity and pulling together core stakeholders to identify and execute against areas for improvement.

Drive a holistic view and management of the marketing team budget including tracking and forecasting budgets and financial plans (consolidate view of forecasts versus actuals).

Partner with Finance and Analytics to closely manage the delivery of financial plan and forecasts, reporting and tracking of key initiatives.

Ensure we are adequately managing controls and resolving issues quickly. Proactively identify and execute against areas of opportunity. Act as the key point of contact for audit and controls, identify areas for process improvements, and ensure the proper tracking and reporting of issues.

Create and deliver impactful communications to a wide variety of audiences and levels within the organization. Coordinate and shape content for critical senior leadership presentations, transforming quantitative and qualitative information into comprehensive and highly visual presentations.

Ensure the team operates at peak efficiency. This includes the sharing of information, running team meetings and aligning business priorities to strategy and resources.

Drive employee engagement, ensuring a solid understanding of team strengths andopportunities and the development of a robust plan to make this the Best Team on the Planet.

Lead people management duties including headcount reporting and budgeting, contractor onboarding and contract renewal.

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in business planning or strategy roles.

Excellent communication skills, with ability to partner effectively with various levels within the organization and influence key decisions.

Ability to build presentations that convey a clear story supported by data findings

Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.

Comfortable in ambiguous situations, self-starter and self-learner.

Demonstrates a flexible approach and resilience to setbacks.

Multi-tasking skills with ability to manage complex projects and meet strict deadlines.
