We are a dynamic company in the forging industry located on the southwest side of Chicago (Bedford Park IL - near Midway Airport), known for our commitment to quality and innovation. We have been around for over 90 years!

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative who is looking to grow in their career with a company for the long run. If you have a background in forging or manufacturing, coupled with experience in marketing and sales, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers

Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Utilize your knowledge of forging processes to guide customers through product specifications and customization options.

Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote our products and services effectively.

Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue.

Keep abreast of industry trends and market conditions to provide relevant information to customers.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of previous experience in customer service, specifically within the forging and/or manufacturing industry.

Strong understanding of forging processes, materials, and product applications.

Demonstrated experience in marketing and sales, with a track record of achieving targets.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer concerns with professionalism.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Proven experience in customer service, marketing, and sales roles, preferably within the forging industry.
