Data Literacy Program Manager
Fitch Group is currently seeking a data literacy program manager based out of our New York or London office.
This role is part of the Chief Data Office, which is currently executing a multi-year strategy to help Fitch leverage data to innovate and grow. Reporting to the Head of Data Engagement, this role is ideal for someone looking to build something new using a combination of creativity, strategic planning, curiosity, and a focus on cutting-edge data technology.
What We Offer:
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the content creation, management, and success tracking for Fitch’s inaugural data literacy program.
Our vision is to buck the stereotypes about corporate training and inspire a culture of continuous learning around data.
You’ll build a broad, influential network as you work closely with experts in technology, data, learning and development, and other areas to build essential skills across the organization.
Your work will benefit both individual employees and the future of our firm.
We’ll Count on You To:
Develop and Implement Framework: Own the creation of Fitch’s enterprise data literacy framework and roadmap.
Tackle Program Management: Lead the day-to-day management of the data literacy program, track results, and adapt our approach based on emerging trends, business needs, and stakeholder feedback.
Shape Content Strategy: Find the best content from current vendors, build the business case for new content acquisitions, and decide when to create bespoke content.
Create Content: Develop data literacy modules and materials, including quizzes, short articles, videos, interactive content, one-pagers, and more.
Collaborate Across Businesses and Functions: Partner with HR, learning, and communications teams to ensure a coordinated approach across business lines and corporate functions. Help integrate data literacy goals into the employee performance and development process.
Internal Marketing: Drive internal marketing campaigns to pair data literacy efforts with the adoption of new data tools and programs.
What You Need to Have:
A bachelor's degree, plus 7-10 years of experience in data literacy program management and/or curriculum development. We’d also be open to someone with a background in communications, marketing or learning with a focus on data and analytics.
Passion for Data: Enthusiasm for data, emerging technology, statistics, analytics, and related topics, especially in teaching them to colleagues new to the space.
Communication Skills: Impeccable command of English with excellent speaking, writing, and presentation skills.
Media Production Skills: Experience in video and podcast production, or a willingness and ability to learn light production.
What Would Make You Stand Out:
Collaborative Nature: A highly collaborative individual with strong relationship-building and management skills.
Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable working style, capable of pivoting easily and managing effectively through change.
Team Spirit: Effective collaboration skills with other departments and colleagues.
