Description:

CHS Inc. is a global $47.8B Fortune 100 company with operations in the agriculture and energy sectors. The company is undergoing an exciting transformation under the CHS1 program, with Sales and Operations Planning as a key strategic enabler, driving the need for a Demand Planner.
The Demand Planner works with sales and business teams to align the business to a consensus forecast and demand plan using standard forecasting inputs This position will play a leading role in change management, be highly focused on process improvement and will be instrumental in the success of the S&OP demand planning team.

Responsibilities
Create, maintain, and communicate forecasts for the assigned product lines or regions
Meet with business teams to understand assigned product lines and develop consensus forecasts and demand plans.
Drive transition from legacy processes and systems to SAP IBP.
Execute the global demand forecasting process for the agriculture commodity product line in legacy systems and SAP IBP.
Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
Recommend solutions to drive planning performance through KPIs like Accuracy, Bias, and Forecast Value Add
Drive Change Management and support the evolution of Demand Planning with key functional teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
Successfully communicate forecast and performance gaps as part of the S&OP process

Minimum Qualifications (required)
Equivalent work experience or a Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, economics, mathematics, or other relevant fields
Ability to manage the evolution from legacy ways of working to SAP IBP standard ways of working
Demand Planning and S&OP process and systems experience
Ability to coordinate planning with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Supply Chain Digitization experience
Demonstrated aptitude using advanced statistical software

Additional Qualifications
Advanced data analytic skills including machine learning and AI
CHS Sales and Product Line Experience
Experience design and implementation of an integrated planning solution
Experience training or mentoring others
