JOB PURPOSE
This position will be responsible to assist in development and implementation of the employment strategy as well as establishing partnerships with employers (notable industry leading and reputable companies) to ensure employment opportunities for the graduates of BRAC Institute of Skills Development (BISD), and clients of Career Hubs across Bangladesh.
The position is also responsible for building a strong network among private sector actors in core industries that BRAC Skills Development Programme aims to work with such as (Information Technology Enabled Services and Manufacturing).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support in the formulation and dissemination of strategies, action plans, and activities to engage the private sector.
Deduce and identify key contact points for engagement with the private sector.
Develop knowledge tools and guidance documents on engagement with the private sector tailored to Career Hub (CH) and BRAC Institute of Skills Development (BISD).
Provide support to the Programme Manager to identify potential learner profiles as per the changing needs of the market for both the BRAC Institute of Skills Development (BISD) & Career Hub operations team.
Assist the Programme Manager in developing quarterly/ half-yearly/ yearly plans for private-sector partnerships to boost the placement of BISD graduates and Career Hub participants.
Develop materials and organize meetings with external stakeholders (Public/Private Organisations) and internal stakeholders (within BRAC) to support the placement of BISD graduates and Career Hub participants.
Assist the Programme Manager in developing business/ capacity pitches for potential industries/ sectors/ companies and sector-specific private sector actor lists for engagement plans.
Understand the market demands for relevant jobs; develop and support in organizing employment/job placement strategies i.e., organizing job fairs, webinars, etc. to improve private sector engagement.
Assist in developing a female inclusion/disability inclusion action plan for private sector engagement.
Actively monitor and document the outcomes of the private sector partnerships, highlighting good practices, lessons learned, and ways forward.
Understand the need of the private sector and support units within SDP to develop and/or update curriculums as per market demand.
Develop the capacity of the employment team for BISD and Career Hub and streamline the job linkage and placement process across the country.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Graduation in any discipline. (Preferably in Marketing, Communications and English)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2 years of working experience in the relevant sector. Experience in relationship management with various private sector stakeholders will get the preference.
