Description:

Amazon MGM Studios Distribution (AMSD) is seeking a Digital Home Entertainment Operations Manager. This position will drive growth and efficiency in our global transactional businesses with a focus on optimizing operational release planning for premium windows, EST and TVOD across new releases and library content. This role will lead day-to-day operations with touch points to internal creative, licensing, legal and operational teams and key operational contacts for 3P distribution partners. In addition, this role will represent TVOD business interests in internal future-state systems and process design. This role will also support the development of the AVOD operational business processes to support and scale the business.

Key job responsibilities
- Support the WW digital consumption-based home entertainment businesses (TVOD and AVOD) through collaboration with key internal and 3P distribution operational stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, including Licensing, Legal, Partner Engagement, Contract Services, Creative, and Operations, to align distribution strategies with overall business objectives, such as optimizing workflows and processes that will support the growth of the WW Home Entertainment and US AVOD businesses.
- Lead communications for Internal Stakeholders and External Partners to ensure successful launch of New Release Films on WW Digital Transactional Stores (coordinating windows, asset availability, etc.)


A day in the life
- Lead day-to-day operations with internal Creative, Licensing, Legal, and Operations teams.
- Primary operational point of contact for TVOD distribution partners.
- Collaborate with internal Contract Services Team and Operations Team to build future state systems and processes to ensure that digital transactional and AVOD business interests are fully met.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on project execution and problem-solving.
- Manage ad hoc Partner Ops projects.


About the team
Amazon MGM Studios Distribution oversees the licensing of Amazon Studio’s titles, as well as MGM new release and library movies and series such as film franchises James Bond, Rocky and Creed, and series The Handmaid’s Tale, Vikings, and Fargo.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in digital distribution, studio operations, or related fields within the entertainment industry.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong understanding of digital distribution platforms, business models, and industry trends.
- Experience working with major Digital Transactional Stores or Post-Theatrical Distribution at a Studio.
- Adaptability and resilience to quick changes in priorities, tools, workflow, and technology.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $74,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $158,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
