You will be working as Digital Solution Engineering Specialist for the Process Automation Digital division in Pro-cess Automation Business Area, reporting to the Project Manager and this posi-tion will be based in Bangalore, India.
In this role, you will be leading a Technical / Development team with experience on DevOps environ-ment with focus on software lifecycle automation, Build and Release management and CI/CD.This posi-tion will primarily focus on guiding team development efforts towards successful project delivery, providing coordination, Tracking and work with the teammates through coaching and mentorship.
Your responsibilities
Maintaining high standards of software quality within the team by establishing best industry practices
Guiding the team to setup a continuous build environment to speed up software development and deployment process
Identifying and encouraging areas for growth and improvement within the team
Collaborating with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, de-sign, develop and test the software applications
Assisting in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans
Working closely with ABB project manager for deliverables and milestones identification and tracking
Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status of the project
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with more than 15 years of experince in the similar Industry
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, and familiarity with other cloud platforms and concepts
Experience on setting up a continuous build environment to speed up software development and de-ployment process
Extensive experience on application containerization concepts and tooling (e.g. Docker/Docker Swarm, Kubernetes)
Good knowledge of various virtualization, Language, Database & Test technologies. Experience in trou-bleshooting the complex technical issues within the team
Experince in Application development skills (Angular, .net core C# Full stack), Data Science, Analytics, AI & ML, ETL, Databases, Security, DevOps & deployment automation
