Job Description:
The aim of the role of Distributor Business Analyst (Ufresh) role is to use data as an enabler & catalyst for increased growth and improved business performance across different channels, partner retailers, and programs encompassing the omni-channel space to convert data into insight to drive actions for growth anchored on the Customer Economic Model influencing more Shoppers, More Frequency, and Bigger Basket Sizes per purchase.
The Role serves to create data approaches that can help analyze data and use the analysis to recommend actions to grow the business and improve business performance anchored on accelerating sales for the business.
Data solutions can range from dashboards and reports and analyzing these to identify opportunities, jobs to be done, and actions for growth. This will involve handling different forms of data: sales data, other relevant data points, across multiple type of channels & Customers (Supermarkets, Retailer specific programs) and possible growth spaces (Digital commerce, others), maximizing Point of Sale or Retailer Data, and other retailer and shopper data sets to identify insights, opportunities, and actions for growth.
The role will also be key in progressing and landing the CD Data strategy that aims to build Customer Lifetime Value to grow the business, linked to the Customer Economic Model of driving more shoppers, more visits, and bigger baskets.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree holder
Must be amenable for a contract based role for 12 months.
Able to use of analysis tool such as Microsoft Excel, fast learner and self learner for more advanced data solutions like Microsoft PowerBI, and other Data Solutions
Experience working with category data sets is a plus
Passion for answering questions with data, and linking output to growth insights and recommendations for actions for growth
Ability to communicate with stakeholders to understand business questions and requirements
Ability to building mapping approaches for relevant data sets, process information, transform, manipulate and analyze high-volume data sets, from data mapping, data processing, transforming, to usable output for end users, for insighting, and well as use the data output to provide analysis on hotspots, opportunities, and actions for growth
