Marketing & Events Coordinator



CreditSights is currently seeking a Marketing & Events Coordinator based out of our London Office.

CreditSights, the credit research arm of Fitch Solutions, empowers financial professionals worldwide with market insights, in-depth company research, and risk management tools to make well-informed credit decisions.

The Marketing & Events Coordinator will be a key player within the marketing team, specializing in the creation and execution of our global events that engage customers and prospects. The ideal candidate will be able to evaluate and negotiate with vendors, collaborate with our sales and research teams making sure we’re targeting the right audiences, and manage communications with attendees, speakers, and client stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing event logistics from initial concept to post-event analysis. This includes developing detailed project plans, selecting and managing vendors, creating event agendas and marketing collateral, inviting and scheduling speakers, and promoting events through various channels to maximize attendance. This is an entry level position for an ambitious candidate wishing to develop a marketing and events career in the financial services industry.

We’ll Count on You To:

Develop and drive marketing event project plans from inception to completion.
Work with vendors to align resources and pricing.
Promote marketing events via email campaigns and appropriate social media channels.
Track event attendance and generating post-event satisfaction surveys.
Create marketing events’ agenda and other collateral.
Serve as the point person onsite for setup, troubleshooting, and breakdown.
Track and report on registration numbers and other metrics.
Be willing to take on new projects and multi-task
Create and update various landing pages to showcase events and content
Assist with setting up paid advertising campaigns (Google ads, LinkedIn, Demandbase)
Help edit, publish, and market the CreditSights podcast


What You Need to Have:

Experience in event planning or event coordination in a corporate environment
Have an interest in financial services and working with/marketing to investment professionals
Excellent organizational, communication, negotiating, and multitasking skills
Strong and effective verbal/written communication skills. Must be able to speak credibly and confidently in various groups settings
Demonstrated commitment to putting customers first
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite a must (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Powerpoint)
Ability to manage competing priorities


What Would Make You Stand Out:

Graduate, level candidate with relevant degree and 0 – 2 years’ relevant experience
Experience in managing budgets and tracking expenses
Familiarity with ON24, Salesforce, Marketing Automation platforms (i.e., HubSpot) and website CMS (Wordpress) are all valuable skills
