Amazon Ads seeks a dedicated, self-driven Executive Assistant with strong communication skills to support the VP of Measurement, AdTech and Data Science (MADS). This role requires excellent planning, time management, and a passion for organization. Great judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively when juggling multiple requests is critical. The Executive Assistant acts as a seamless extension of the VP, serves as a leader for the MADS EA team, and a partner to Finance, HR, and Recruiting teams. Humor, composure, and the ability to foster a positive environment is a must, as is critical thinking, flexibility, and a willingness to turn on a dime as priorities shift. A high level of integrity and discretion handling confidential information and professionalism dealing with senior executives inside and outside the company is essential. The successful candidate will be a tech-savvy problem solver who understands business priorities, proactively anticipates needs, and drives improvements that build capacity for the leadership team. Completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance, reacting with appropriate urgency to situations that require quick turnaround, and taking effective action without knowing the whole picture are key to success. This is a Seattle-based role, the ability to work a minimum three days a week in the office is required.
Key job responsibilities
• Manage complex calendars and scheduling for teams in multiple locations and time zones
• Coordinate complex domestic and international travel itineraries with seamless logistics
• Manage and submit expense reporting
• Partner closely with the leadership team, key business partners, and team EAs to provide holistic support to the organization, including MADS EA allocation, hiring, onboarding, and development related decision-making
• Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with a variety of groups including peers, internal stakeholders, clients, advertising industry professionals
• Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, fireside chats, off-sites, and other team events)
• Support creative team traditions and activities that foster a strong team culture; have fun at work and help others do the same
• Space management, including strategic growth, moves, reconfigurations
• Draft, edit and distribute correspondence, documents and presentations for the VP as needed
A day in the life
Every day is different, but a typical day will involve managing a high volume of email, coordinating with EAs across the organization to schedule complex meetings, and partnering closely with the leadership team on various projects, initiatives, and Lead EA responsibilities including defining the MADS EA support structure and team culture.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience providing executive support at senior management level
- Experience with domestic and/or international travel coordination
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in people management and/or leading a team of EAs
- Strong organizational, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to improve process and efficiency
- Ability to quickly learn organizational structure and team objectives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
