Would you like to work with modern technologies (Microservice Architecture, Data Centers, gRPC interface, REST) and grow your technical skills by learning and applying the coolest DevOps practices?
For our Real Time Assets Tracking Solution we are looking for SW developers to join our Nokia Digital Automation organization! We are building kubernetes native microservice applications in GO, Angular and some in Python (focus for this role is on GO). If you are proficient in any of these (or even in many of them), would like to deepen your SW developer skills and learn more about containerization, don't hesitate to apply!
Candidates will work for one of the building blocks of the Nokia strategy, the Nokia Digital Automation Cloud platform, which provides both private LTE networks for industrial customers and state of the art Digital Services on top.
As part of our team, you will:
· Build large scale micro-service applications for cloud from scratch, start-up mindset
· Understand the whole lifecycle, phases of SW development from coding to deployment
· Learn new technologies
· Provide your hands-on experience in building containerized applications in a microservice architecture (or at least a strong willingness to learn)
· Code and solve complex problems
· Implement end to end features, from back-end to front-end
REQUIRED SKILLS
You are required to have a fair knowledge of the fundamentals of sw design and architecture, with the ability to pick up and learn any stack. Even if you don't know everything about software development, but you want to learn as much as possible and you are a “self-starter” who knows how to work around dead ends, can pick something up on the fly, then you are the one we need to build this new solution!
You have:
· SW development expertise in microservices environment
· Knowledge in RESTful architectures, JSON, OAuth
· SQL knowledge
· Exposure to cloud, virtualization & SaaS concepts, Kubernetes, Docker
· Scaling, caching, and microservices
· Unit testing, possibly functional testing
· 2-4 years relevant experience
