The role reports to the HUB Division Controller Americas and is located in Miramar, Florida.

As a Global Early Talent Program in Finance participant, you will get hands-on responsibility from the start. The exceptional people you work with, the challenging projects you tackle, and the global scale of our business will give the experience you need to build a world-class career in finance.

1) One nine-month assignment in your home country as an introduction to the business.

2) One six-month assignment abroad to get an overview of ABB’s operations in a different environment/role and work on an exciting assignment with a different team, expanding your network.

3) One nine-month assignment back to the home country/home business, where you will deepen your knowledge of the business and of your function.

During the program we will take the participants on a leadership competency development journey. The last rotation will also be the time where the participants start to look for their final position, to be started after the end of the program.

Your responsibilities
Depending on the assignment role you will be in, most common responsibility can include tasks within Operational (Accounting and Reporting) and Strategic Controlling and Finance:
Support reporting needs of the business throughout the month including month end and quarter end processes
Optimizing performance by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplication, and coordinating information requirements for management reporting
Provide reporting in utilization and absorption as well as analysis for manager review
Assist in managing FX deals and perform analysis of actuals vs forecast for exchange rate variance
Assist in improving and updating the Full Cost Models for bidding projects.
Participate in and/or lead financial audits for different business processes, lead smaller audits
Your background
You are a recent graduate (preferably Master’s level) in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related fields
You may have professional experience in the finance function
Fluency in English, other languages are a plus
You are a good communicator, both orally and in writing
You like details and accuracy
Microsoft Office experience, specifically Excel
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
