The Global Financial Reporting Systems Lead is in charge of Finance Reporting Systems such as HFM, Essbase, FDMee, OneStream, used as key systems for internal financial reporting within Royal Canin and Mars. This role is part of RC Controlling & Reporting team in charge of consolidating subsidiary results to generate RC Group financial statements.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance or Engineering with 5 years of professional experience in administration of Financial Reporting Systems like Oracle/OneStream or similar
Fluent in English
Strong analytical skills and ability to apply problem solving Technics
SAP experience greatly appreciated
Project Management experience (preferably Agile methodology or similar)
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate
What will be your key responsibilities?
Lead the development, implementation, and administration of RC's financial systems. Research financial record-keeping and reporting requirements and ensure that systems are modified to meet these requirements;
Manage Royal Canin Financial Reporting Systems like HFM, Essbase and FDMee, which are being used as key systems for internal financial reporting within Royal Canin. This includes the coordination of the internal change management process on a quarterly basis. The collaboration with various stakeholders (local unit controller/Global RC FP&A/ HFM supplier/MGS DT) is needed for this;
Being the Functional Expert for Mars internal reporting system (Helios). Ensure that all Royal Canin units (currently 93 units) are submitted on time and on quality during monthly submission process. This requires a strong coordination with all relevant stakeholders such as Global RC FP&A Team, Helios Support and Global FP&A Technology Team;
Lead the digital transformation for the Implementation of new Finance Accounting and Reporting Systems for Royal Canin (SAP & OneStream);
Lead/Contribute to Finance Transformation Projects for Royal Canin and Mars such as new markets/factory/Brand integration in management accounting perimeter, digital initiatives, continuous improvement projects or the data integration into the new Reporting Systems.
Interact, influence, manage key segments stakeholders such as corporate & segment Financial Planning teams and directors, Royal Canin CFO’s and Controllers and global business partners. Anticipate future reporting requirements and challenge current processes;
Ensure compliance of Financial Reporting Systems with internal guidelines and best practices. This includes for example the documentation of quarterly User Access checks for HFM and FDMee. Additionally, the documentation of HFM related changes (link to change management process). Lastly, the support for licenses checks for Mars internal reporting system (Helios);
Strive for continuous improvements in the spirit of Total quality Management. This includes meeting Target KPIs for specific tasks in for example the monthly submission process or difference of infrastructure incidents;
Educate and empower local RC unit controllers (systems, process, finance manual) and Global RC FP&A Team around periodic reporting submission and analysis (actuals). This includes to keep existing training material, procedures and form up-to-date and to organize regular trainings.
