Description:

As a Global Segment Leader, you will be responsible to lead all assigned area marketing and sales activities – products, systems, services – for semi-conductor
segment and ensure that the Division and related local sales units substantially increase sales, margins, market share and customer satisfaction in the selected market
segments. Develop and implement a market-based strategy including direct, third party and project sales. Lead, manage and coach the segment team members and
reinforce global sales efficiency and performance. Build relationships with key external influencers/key customers and leverage ABB strengths to capture new business
opportunities. Drive and enhance cross-division and cross-region business-led collaboration for the specific market segment.

Your responsibilities
Creates, implements and reviews assigned area industry segment strategy.
Leads the definition of the industry group footprint (market presence, execution standards and delivery model).
Drives a profitable growth by focusing on penetration, innovation and expansion.
Activates operation intelligence, benchmarking and analysis in order to identify Industry segment trends, practices, product gaps, competitor strategy, etc.
Defines key targets (e.g., volume, prices, portfolio mix) and ensures these are achieved for the segment(s).
Ensures business plans are in place and executed by a market-oriented organization.
Ensures ABB’s value proposition for the target segment is developed and well communicated (internally and externally).
Supports local Sales organizations to ensure they are positively perceived in the target segment(s).
Your background
At least 7 years of commercial leadership experience combined with minimum of 7 years of account management with the same segment industry.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the design and execution of segment plans and strategies.
Proven track record in designing and deploying marketing strategies and/or leading account managements.
Demonstrated ability for leading and building organizational capabilities, robust systems and processes and culture of high performance / excellence in marketing and sales
Ability to lead teams effectively, including geographically remote teams
