Your responsibilities
Coordinate, interface, facilitate, train and provide guidance to contract/project staff and relevant function areas (Commercial and Business teams) regarding federal procurements (predominantly Commercial products and services), federal non-procurements such as grants, and state/local governments contracting processes, procedures, and their application
Provide support to product team to manage a diverse contracts administration workload comprised of federal/state/local agencies and higher tier contractors through the project cycle from opportunity development and bidding through contract formation, and contract administration including change management and subcontract management, contract invoicing and contract closeout
Effectively communicate issues and develop solution(s) to solving contractual challenges as related to government contracting requirements
Evaluate current processes to identify areas for improvements and potential solutions
Understand applicable government FARS and DFARS regulations
Provide guidance to Business Unit team members on steps within the review process for quotes
Ensure each government job has the necessary documents in place for future audit readiness
Manage oversight of all government orders for compliance with regulations
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in Business or relevant discipline with 5 years’ experience working with government projects or US government contracts
6 years of experience in Program Management or Project Management
Sound knowledge of government regulations for suppliers in the market
Knowledge of Salesforce and SAP a plus
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
