In this key-leadership role you will build and run the Supply Chain for Motion Drive Products division to meet its strategic targets and ambitions living by ABB values, code of conduct and integrity.
At global level, you will lead the Supply Chain organization and people, and create SCM strategy being responsible for strategic initiatives within the organization and/or supply bases to ensure high quality performance.
You actively monitor market's behavior and analyze its impact on our business, facing challenges and complex subjects supported by your competences as buyer, engineer and businessperson.
You will manage the performance of supply chain in the areas of sustainability, quality, availability, and cost and ensure we have fit-to-purpose framework to run significant supply chain in global environment.
You will report to Head of Operations and be part of Global Operations leadership team.
This role is open globally, but preferred location is set in ABB factory and R&D units of the division based in China (Beijing), India (Bangalore), Finland (Helsinki) or US (New Berlin). To support your onboarding, you will start by short-assignment in Finland (Helsinki).

Your responsibilities
Lead and own SCM function and performance in the division
Ensure we are 100% compliant in the area of integrity
Follow macroeconomics and supply market and manage supply chain accordingly
Create SCM strategy and relevant category strategies with the team
Ensure best cost, quality and availability of supply
Develop supply chain footprint in line with overall footprint strategy
Risk management of supply network
Meet ABB’s sustainability targets in supply chain
On quality, on time reporting of supply chain performance
Fit-to-Purpose framework (processes, systems, competence) for SCM
Your background
Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering
10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management in global environment
Good understanding of industrial electronics supply markets
Good understanding of macroeconomic trends and opportunities based on supply market insight
Excellent leadership, collaboration, communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage people and complex environment
