Description:

Position Summary
The Human Resource Manager is expected to function in a strategic business leadership capacity responsible for all aspects of human resource administration and human capital planning including talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, talent development and employee engagement to meet strategic objectives.

Primary Responsibilities
Work safely. Adhere to all company and regulatory EH&S policies and procedures.
Adhere to, and enforce all Company 6-S initiatives and policies.
Collaboration with business unit leadership team and corporate organizational development staff to meet PCC human capital strategic objectives.
Develop personnel policies and procedures as required to meet organization requirements.
Determine and recommends employee relation practices and activities to establish a positive and productive employer/employee relationship.
Direct and approve employment activities including the recruitment, selection, hiring and orientation of all personnel.
Analyze organization training needs, plans, develops, and coordinates the implementation of training programs to meet organization needs and requirements.
Administer wage and salary programs in accordance with established policies and procedures, recommends changes as necessary to meet company objectives.
Oversee all benefit programs, maintains associated records in compliance with government regulations and company established policies and procedures.
Administration of SPS RIP (Pension plan).
Oversee the management of workers’ compensation claims, direct and coordinate related services including disability management, claim processing, claims reserving and loss-prevention.
Supervises staff activities of the Human Resource Generalist positions.
Acts as company EEO coordinator responsible for AAP development, compliance and implementation to meet plan objectives.
Assures all HR practices, policies and related activities are in compliance with corporate policy and legal regulations.
Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Education and Experience
Four year degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field of study, and a minimum of five (5) years prior experience in Human Resource administration and management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
