Job Description
Initiate, track, manage, and maintain detailed and accurate records of key human rights initiatives, including maintaining ownership of related files and systems.
Track and manage human rights audits and subsequent corrective actions for TechnipFMC suppliers, including coordinating with TechnipFMC’s third party auditor, TechnipFMC suppliers, and internal stakeholders around the world.
Manage a large amount of program data; organize, assess, and validate program data; assume primary responsibility for delivering program data to stakeholders, internally and externally, of varying levels of sophistication in various ways, often with short notice.
Conduct human rights due diligence and evaluate and grade self-assessment questionnaire responses.
Develop relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally, to achieve programmatic goals. Regularly communicate with internal stakeholders, such as management, peers, business managers, and Internal Audit, on programmatic initiatives and developments.
Maintain subject matter expertise and deliver communications and training to relevant stakeholders. Stay abreast of new human rights and sustainability regulations and best practices.
Lead monthly review meetings to present program results, drive program/organizational improvements, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop action plans.
Provide thorough, accurate, and timely responses to client, supplier, and other third-party human rights questionnaires.
Pursue, track, and recommend approaches to emerging human rights matters. Ensure operational adherence to program objectives and drive accountability for human rights program success.
Provide human rights subject matter expertise to the Legal & Compliance, Sourcing & Procurement, HSE, and business teams for regulatory reporting and client and supplier engagement.
Contribute to program and system development according to the company’s drive for simplification, standardization, and industrialization, including as it relates to company policies, procedures, processes, and digital tools.
You are meant for this job if:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in program or project management. Experience in oil and gas and/or sustainability is preferred.
Substantive knowledge of, and experience with prevailing business human rights laws and regulations, e.g., the UK Modern Slavery Act, the Norwegian Transparency Act, and the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, and international human rights standards, e.g., the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the ILO Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
Good understanding of oilfield services and/or manufacturing business operations.
Ability to independently analyze data and present it in a succinct, organized, professional, and compelling manner.
Experience developing and delivering training programs with the ability to present complex information in a persuasive and understandable manner.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment and take initiative to address/mitigate risks.
Strong critical thinking skills; ability to apply proper rigor to decision making, including when to seek third-party review or guidance.
