Job Description:

Industrial Engineer Tech - Ft. Smith, AR
Drive data analysis and communications to the site by utilization of site systems and methodologies. This associate will be the primary owner of site scorecards, data trending, site informational databases, and other related systems/processes. This associate will support ideation and on the floor implementation of efficiency gains projects and waste reduction projects. This associate will support the FI Pillar in Problem Solving and driving value leadership for the site. The IE Technician will report to the Industrial Engineering Manager.

What are we looking for?
Education / Training:

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering field required
TPM, AM, AWT, 5S, Continuous Improvement, Problem Solving experience / training is desired

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to teach others with tools such as one point lessons and leading by example
Ability to prepare power point presentations and be comfortable presenting in front of others
Must be a team player and value the input of others
Mechanical machinery aptitude is essential
Intermediate MS Excel skills required including interpretation, organization and analysis of data
Strong organizational skills and self-directed capability
Ability to lead a small team of people to achieve a common solution
Must have ability to manage multiple projects at on time
What will be your key responsibilities?
Ownership and Upkeep of site data spreadsheets and systems.
Ownership of site scorecards including but not limited to: Weekly Scorecard, Period Scorecard, OPEX Presentation, TRS Deep Dive
Responsibility of Problem Solving as a Functional Expert
Identify potential food safety risks and make improvement recommendations
Interact with engineering, operations and maintenance teams to improve equipment efficiency, eliminate waste and reduce costs.
Insure that area/equipment performance boards are aligned and in agreement with the Factory Mars Operating System (FMOS) performance boards via PowerBI & Weever
Owner of Site Savings through Value Leadership. Tracking MCC and Primes Savings Goals
Management of WAGES System and assistance in reporting SIG Metrics and ownership of Enablon updates,
Track production rates and optimize production capacity through analysis and data trending.
Support the FI pillar with Loss Analysis and other useful tools for identifying and tracking losses.
Utilize downtime tracking data system to analyze trends and recommend corrective measures
Participation and tracking of Site Waste via Weekly Waste Report Out and War on Waste meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
