Ensure the stability of Cloud and IP network including resilience and Disaster Recovery of the infrastructure to conform to Service Level Agreements.
Ensure the scalability of Cloud and IP network in accordance to traffic forecast.
Ensure regular upgrades of Cloud and IP network
Manage costs related to Cloud and IP network
Ensure business continuity with robust design, monitoring and recovery procedures of Cloud an IP network
To be successful, an exceptional candidate will need strong experience in Cloud and IP network management. The candidate should be passionate about new technologies and should be customer-focused. The leader must maintain an active and leading role to set the direction of transformation that enables future services and the experience to operate effectively in a changing environment while keeping costs low.
Define and maintain the in-life service for all Datacentre designs, infrastructure, cloud services and IP network
Cloud – Private and Public Cloud. Private cloud include Nokia Cloudband and Public cloud include all major provides like AWS, Azure, GCP etc.
IP Network (intra and inter site) – Include all Routers, Firewalls, Witches, Load balancers in private and public data centers
Develop network detailed designs in the following areas: software defined networking, network segmentation, network access control, network security and cloud networking components
Analyze and provide recommendations for emerging network technologies
Implement cloud and network infrastructures solutions (hands-on engineering, configuration, testing, deployment, and initial support)
Support any operational issues as Level 2 support
Design and develop new solutions to automate and improve services
Work with external vendors across multiple technical projects to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Contribute to AGILE culture
REQUIRED SKILLS
Desired industry certifications on Cloud and IP preferred (e.g., CCIE, JCIE for IP or AWS/Azure certifications for Cloud)
Previous experience and evidence of driving technical strategy across the business
Excellent written and oral communication ability.
Strong time management skills
Experience with team management and mentoring
Strong stakeholder management skills with the capability to collaborate with and influence both technical and operational network teams, and senior leadership
Proven experience in writing technical and operational procedures
Strong work ethic with a high standard of self-motivation and desire to deliver
