We are looking for an Insights & Analytics lead to join our Regional Resilience Operations team within Commercial Operations, based in Slough (hybrid home working)
The Resilience Operations team will drive and define strategy for Predictive and Proactive Resilience across Raws and Packs with a future focus and ‘best in class’ 3-5 year resilience outlook, working across job families to define priority Regional Resilience activities against defined KPIs and year on year targeted Resilience improvements, linked to our regional business objectives. The team will be establishing a clear Strategy, enhanced Governance, Capabilities building and mobilising dedicated Insights & Analytics using internal and external data to identify risk trends and predictive insights to support decision-making but crucially set our direction for future resilience focus.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will be a strong business analyst with a background in professional services (FMCG experience), who is passionate about improving business solutions and ways of working. The successful candidate will be well organised with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and prioritise multiple responsibilities.
An analytical but pragmatic approach to problem-solving is essential combined with commercial awareness to ensure that requirements are achievable and aligned with the business strategy.
Qualifications and Relevant Experience
Educated to a degree level standard or equivalent
Business Analysis / Agile / Process Improvement / Lean accreditation preferred.
Experience working as a business analyst within a programme and project delivery environment, ideally with FMCG’s
Experience in professional services preferred
Supply Chain and Procurement experience preferred
Commercial awareness and critical thinking
Confidence working with complex data and systems
Experience of working in a programme and project delivery function in an international organisation
Proven experience with process modelling including the use of appropriate modelling tools, techniques, and standards
Proven experience of following business analysis best practices, policies, procedures, and processes with the ability to adapt them as appropriate to meet the specific needs of the change programme or project
Sound analytical skills and change management capabilities
What will be your key responsibilities?
Planning, delivery, and assurance of your workstreams business analysis deliverables
Driving and managing scope and design for Resilience workstreams in collaboration with the Resilience Lead and Governance Activity Manager, including assessing the risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impacts of various solution options
Using data modelling to identify ways in which we can operate with more resilience
Explore/propose different solutions, risks, benefits and impacts
Persuade internal and external stakeholders of the benefits of new strategy/WOW/opportunity
Run workshops/engagement sessions
Generating innovative approaches to existing problems or new opportunities
Stakeholder management - building relationships with key stakeholders and senior management, keeping them informed and managing expectations and confident in presenting findings
