Description:

Amazon Web Services (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon.com and a leader in cloud computing, is seeking a skilled and experienced Organizational (Internal) Communications and Employee Enablement Manager to join our dynamic AWS Global Customer Industry and Partner Marketing (GCIPM) Team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving strong change management initiatives, strengthening the adoption of our organizational culture, and supporting our shared strategic vision and processes. The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive organizational communications plan to enhance and promote GCIPM’s vision and strategic goals, as well as communications related to employee enablement efforts.

GCIPM is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and creative communications professional to manage employee-facing communications globally for the Vice President of the organization. This role will be responsible for all internal communications within GCIPM, and alignment to the AWS Marketing Communications team, to help effectively engage with employees around the globe, located in physical, virtual, and partner sites. The chosen candidate will design communications strategies that consider both proactive and reactive tactics. They will identify high-value engagements that provide the optimal platform to reach our audiences and develop compelling, data-rich content to inform and inspire them. They will maintain balance proactive guidance and strategy with flawless delivery to become a trusted partner to the GCIPM leadership team. They must have a strong track record of delivering results by producing high-quality, clear content, a demonstrated ability to earn and maintain trust across stakeholders, and insist on highest standards for quality, attention to detail while working on multiple projects simultaneously. The chosen candidate must be curious about new programs, channels, and initiatives impacting our customers, partners, and employees and possess the ability to ask the right questions. They need to have a bias for action and balance driving vs being directed. They must be comfortable taking risks and raising the bar for new ways of doing things. The role would suit a tenacious, detail-orientated person with a passion for storytelling, comfort to lead through ambiguity and agility to navigate a large-scale, complex business.


Key job responsibilities
• Internal Communications: 1/This role is responsible for developing, organizing, and executing internal organizational communications and employee enablement programs for GCIPM leadership and 2/work directly with GCIPM’s leadership and serve as an integral partner to the AWS Marketing Internal Communications team to align across teams
• Change Management: 1/Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies to facilitate seamless transitions during organizational transformations, process improvements, or technology implementations within GCIPM. 2/Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the impact of change initiatives and design effective communication and training plans for GCIPM. 3/Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure transparent communication throughout the change process.
• Organizational Culture and Employee Engagement: 1/Conceptualize, develop and foster a strong organizational culture aligned with the company's leadership principles and GCIPM’s tenets. 2/Develop and execute engaging communication campaigns and initiatives to reinforce the desired culture and behaviors. 3/Develop and facilitate employee engagement programs, recognizing and celebrating achievements, and promoting a positive work environment. 4/Facilitate two-way communication channels, encouraging employee feedback and input to foster a collaborative and inclusive environment. 5/Identify and address communication gaps or barriers for GCIPM, ensuring effective information flow and understanding throughout the organization.
• Measurement and Reporting: 1/Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of communication and employee initiatives. 2/Analyze data and provide regular reports to leadership, highlighting achievements, areas for improvement, and recommendations. 3/Continuously evaluate and refine strategies and tactics based on data-driven insights and industry best practices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- 7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
