In this role, you will be creating and executing designs for solutions as part of the Engineering team in MOTION, Traction division in Genoa. This includes drawings, calculations, bill of materials, engineering instructions and processes. Your skills and technical expertise will contribute to a variety of design projects.
This position reports to
Project Lead Engineer
Your responsibilities
Contributing to design reviews and verification, implementing modifications as required.
Working with the supply chain during the preparation of RFQs and proposals.
Defining and conducting studies of testing criteria for mechanical components.
Completing risk and opportunity assessments and reporting any issues for resolution.
Communicating engineering designs and processes to stakeholders and contributing to design reviews and in project meetings.
Your background
Student in Mechanical Engineering.
Basic knowledge of CAD and drafting tools (PTC Creo is preferred).
Basic knowledge of welding process.
Fluent in English.
Initiative, creativity and great attention to detail, team spirit.
