As part of a growing IT ERP team, you will be responsible for setting standards, controls and processes related to the ERP release management strategy. You will take over the existing release management activities currently supported by internal and external resources.
You'll provide support to IT partners and project teams with critical thinking, problem-solving and project management skills to implement high-quality releases.
You set up a release schedule for future ERP application release cycles and manage risks and issues affecting release content, planning and quality
You measure and monitor the progress of releases to ensure delivery of application releases on schedule and budget
You conduct release preparation reviews, key stages and start/stop meetings, negotiate, plan and manage release activities, and produce deployment plans, implementation guides and Detailed procedures
You work with the technical teams to understand the impacts of aggregating different developments
You direct and coordinate start-up activities including deployment plan implementation and checklists, and develop the scripts and automation tools used to prepare, integrate and deploy releases from different Platforms
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Holder of a Master's degree or an engineering degree you have 5 years’ experience in project management / SAP release management
Good communicator you are able to collaborate with all the hierarchical levels of the IT organization and to support all applications of the ERP ecosystem.
Your technical knowledge allows you to anticipate and solve the various problems that can be encountered
Your ability to understand end-to-end architectural processes and solutions through different technologies allows you to deliver innovative solutions while seeking performance and results
The essentials: SAP ERP ECC6 / SAP S/4 HANA / ARIBA / SRM / BW - ChaRM - agile methods, DevOps and waterfall.
The little extras : SAP Solution Manager - SAP Transport Management Your skills
Revtrac knowledge and SAP developer / customizing experiences would be a plus
