Junior Account Manager (Sales)
Fitch Solutions is currently seeking an Account Manager based out of our London office.
In this high-profile sales role, you will be part of the European Team. You will be responsible for the management of the commercial relationship with banks mainly and other financial institutions across the BeNeLux and Ireland territories. Some travel will be required in this role.
You will be selling a suite of products and services within Fitch Solutions that includes:
Fitch Credit Ratings, Credit Research, Fundamental Financial Data & Analytics
Country Risk, Industry Research & Geopolitical Risk from BMI
ESG Products from Sustainable Fitch

We’ll Count on You To:
Oversee, manage and develop long-lasting client relationships to become strategic partner of your clients and understand their work flows
Grow the Fitch Solutions business by renewing your contracts, cross-selling, upselling and negotiating effectively across the territory.
Become a subject matter expert both in the industries you cover and the solutions Fitch has to offer to our clients
Liaise and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams such as Sales Specialists, Customer Success and Client Services in order to support your client’s needs
Form clear account plans to strategically grow your book of business.
What You Need to Have:
Ability to negotiate as well as articulate product value proposition and competitive advantage
Sales/business development experience in banking, fixed income or risk management arena
A proven track record in managing client relationships, developing business and growing revenue streams, achieving goals consistently year after year.
The ability to generate ideas by demonstrating your self-motivation, initiative, tenacity, and perseverance
Excellent communication skills, fluency in both written and verbal forms of English.
What Would Make You Stand Out:
A knowledge of the Benelux and/or Irish market
Understand credit risk management processes and know regulatory guidelines that require the use of credit ratings.
Good knowledge of the Credit Risk workflow
Be proactive, enthusiastic and resilient
Be keen to take on more responsibility, over time
Fluency in Dutch and/or French would be a plus
