Our Adhesives and Fluids business (AAF) is looking for an experienced Key Account & Business Development Manager f/m, preferably based in Sweden.

The candidate will be responsible for developing business opportunities with materials for the electromobility and battery area, supporting DuPont’s ahead within the tier and OEM business. He/she will further be responsible for an OEM Key Account Management.

The ideal candidate needs to be actively engaged in specifying DuPont Adhesives solutions in the development phases of the OEM as well as pursuing growth opportunities in the battery and e-motor sectors. She/he will be tasked to defend current market share and grow the business through application development and innovation positioning. The position will include the sales management of the aftermarket glass bonding segment in Scandinavia.

It is expected that the candidate is able to drive Key Account strategy, securing the right cross functional support to reach the targets.
Specific focus will be related to the development of new business opportunities within the electromobility and battery sector.

The Key Account & Business Development Manager f/m - Adhesives & Fluids will report directly to the Regional Sales Director Adhesives & Fluids.

Responsibilities:

Drive and develop Account strategies and develop further the battery and e-motors business for AAF.
Identify and drive new business opportunities to achieve revenue, profit and growth targets.
Develop business growth opportunities in the battery and electromobility sector.
Build efficient working relation with involved functions internally and at the customer, to ensure efficient cooperation in long term projects.
Deliver against the AAF business/finance plan for the assigned customer and accounts (revenues, volume, margin)
Negotiate regional/global commercial deals and manage price and margin according to the business guidelines at assigned customers
Develop and own account plan and manage all aspects of reporting and documenting, by standard use of CRM and forecasting tools.
Develop and drive platform projects and opportunities to position DuPont as partner and solution provider in the early design stages, working closely together with the material and development centers of the customer.
Continuously assess and optimize our route-to-market
Effectively manage the opportunity pipeline to sustainably grow the business over the long term.
Meet and exceed volume, revenue, profit growth targets
Building and managing relationships along complex value chains and segments
Align and partner with internal stakeholders to properly leverage regional/global accounts, roll out sales best practices and ensure aligned, concerted sales & strategy execution
Continue to develop, optimize and implement account plans and apply value in use principles to meet revenue, profit and growth objectives
Job Qualification

University degree, preferably in engineering (Chemical engineering preferred). Additional Business degree is a plus
Sales and business development experience, preferably with automotive adhesives, and/or battery and e-motors technologies
Experience in managing automotive OEM accounts and/or Tier1’s for at least 3 years and proven track record
Experience in building/maintaining strong relationships with Auto OEMs and Battery and e-motor producers
Results oriented and strong customer focused
Experience in driving development projects and accomplishing defined objectives/goals
Flexibility, willingness to work in a rapidly changing multicultural business environment.
Team player, strong interpersonal skills are required
Ability to interact at multiple levels in a Global OEM customer organization, including senior management
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and Swedish, additional Nordic language is a plus
Be prepared for minimum 30-50% of traveling
Location: Home office ideally in Sweden.
