Broad outline of the Role
Aware in deploying and configuring Linux and Microsoft OS, managing database backups, and administering storage on various vendor servers. Proficient in virtualization (HCI with Cisco UCS, Nutanix), Windows security patching, and load balancing. Skilled in backup operations, disaster recovery planning, and system optimization. Five years of experience with VMware systems

Minimum qualification & experience
5 Year of experience in a service provider for DC- Infrastructure background.
Other knowledge/skills
Hands-on experience on different servers Linux , RHEL, Ubuntu, Windows server 2016 & 19
Hands-on experience on vmware.
MS Office- Excel, word and Power point
VCP5/6 certification preferred
Knowledge of VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and vSAN
Experience with VMware NSX, vRealize Suite, and Horizon View is a plus
Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) preferred
Key Responsibilities
Deployment and Configuration Support on Linux and Microsoft OS
Basic understanding of Microsoft SQL and other DB servers
Development of processes for various types of Database backups
Expertise in Virtualization Technology: HCI with Cisco UCS, Nutanix
Windows Security patching and backups across Linux and Windows environments
Storage management and administration on servers from different vendors
Monitoring and maintenance of backup operations, generating reports
Update backup and disaster recovery contingency planning and procedures
VM and hardware resource health monitoring
Hands-on knowledge of load balancers for dynamic load balancing
Proactive maintenance, including upgrades and patch installations on different platforms
Full and incremental backups, troubleshooting issues related to database restores
In-depth knowledge of RTO, RPO, and backup environment system tuning
User account creation and access control for VM applications and tools
Diagnostic tests and debugging procedures for system optimization
Good documentation processes and knowledge of data retrieval and recovery procedures
Design and implementation of efficient end-user feedback and error reporting
5 years of experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining VMware systems
Support for large-scale computer systems in a Data Center Environment
Proficiency in VMware vCenter Server, vSphere Suite, SRM, vRealize Operations Manager, and ESXi
Experience with vCenter cluster features: HA, DRS, SDRS, FT, SRM
Understanding of creating service profiles and using templates in Cisco USC platform
Maintenance of standard firmware/software for hosts, VMs, VMware tools, and hardware versions
Real-time troubleshooting of resource bottlenecks: high Memory, CPU, Disk, Network
Windows System Administration with knowledge of AD, DFS, DHCP, DNS
