At Cognizant Digital Engineering, a small multi-functional team comprised of a Product Manager, an Architect, Full-Stack Developers, UI/UX designers and Big Data analysts builds higher quality software faster siloed individuals working independently. The Role:
Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Lead Java Full Stack Engineer (Hybrid) to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build innovative, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team. Similarly, the ideal candidate is an expert engineer who values the “team”, drives continuous improvement and is unafraid to challenge the legacy status quo with creative cloud-based solutions.
Location: Chicago, IL.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide technical road map and solution for project issues
Managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment
Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment
Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications
Supervising and guiding the analyzing, writing, building, and deployment of software
Leading all aspects of the automated testing and providing feedback to management during the development process
Modifying and testing changes to previously developed program
Represent team in larger forum and explain the on-going projects and unique stuff we are trying in the project
Introduce emerging technologies or framework that help in reduce team effort
Need to discuss any clarification on tasks with Product team
Could come up with suggestion
Need to attend agile meetings regularly
Come up with innovative idea to improve client and cognizant business
Ensure there is no tech debt in the project
Create rapport with client and collaborators
Should train the new members joined the project
Complete required certification on timeComplete required certification on time.
Required qualifications
Expecting 15+ years of experienced Strong Java Full stack Architect in Java, MicroServices and PCF Cloud platform.
Front-end:
React JS, Redux, Java Script, ECMA
Designing front-end interfaces
Building tools that improve site interaction
Creating and implementing UI/UX designs
Coding in client-side programming languages
Java:
Java 8, Spring Framework, Spring Cloud, PCF
Designing back-end systems
Supporting the full application lifecycle
Building relational or non-relational databases
Coding in server-side programming languages
Java Full Stack, PCF, Spring Boot, Microservices, React JS, Java Script
