Performing detailed on-site fact finds and analysis of supplier proposals, basis of estimates, and supporting financial data resulting in a detailed cost analysis report to support either negotiations between P&W and the supplier or ensure compliant cost proposals for the US Government.
Perform in-depth analysis of the supplier’s cost including, but not limited to:
Direct Materials.
Labor Hours.
Other Direct Costs.
Overhead Rates.
Cost Estimating Relationships (CER’s).
SG&A Expense.
Facilities Capital Cost of Money.
Assess supplier’s allocation of costs and reliability of its estimating system and techniques.
Work with engineers to assess the reasonableness of non-recurring cost.
Interact with Procurement for some supplier negotiations of price.
Work with Military Engines Pricing and various Program offices to execute proposals.
Liaise directly with the Government to ensure timely completion of DCMA Pricing Assist requests as needed.
This role will independently travel to supplier locations to perform analyses. Domestic or international travel is possible
